Report a place

Use this form for a club, venue, chess school or recurring tournament in Jakarta or its satellite cities that is not in the directory yet, or for a card that is wrong or out of date. Anyone can write: club officers, organisers, instructors, parents and players.

A link does most of the work: the club’s page, a tournament listing, a notice with a date. Messages are read together at the next revision, checked against that page, and every change that follows is dated under edits.

What happens next

• Your message waits with the others until the next revision of the directory.
• It is then compared with the club’s or organiser’s own pages; where they confirm it, the card changes and the date goes into the edits.
• Without a page to back it, the card is left unchanged and keeps its “not confirmed” line.
• Nobody replies unless your message asks for a reply and leaves a contact.
